Book Design for Stephen King — "IT"
To celebrate the icons 75th birthday, german publisher Heyne (by Penguin Random House) released one of Kings best known novels as a limited special issue. The book comes in a black slipcase with the german title "ES" cut out to let the main antagonist Pennywise have a sinister glimpse at the reader — just like he did in the story, when the horror clown glances through the drain at his victim.
The book comes with five more illustrations and a special gimmick for the fans (a single "Derry News" Page, with original articles from the book, that can be folded to a paper boat — just like in the story).
